I had the original setup to use Rapid Store - I USUALLY turn this off in the SETUP and run AHCI, I forgot this one. I had a laptop that used the Rapid Store and I needed to replace it with another one because of hardware updates. Rapid Storage is just fake RAID, it provides no real benefits if you are using a single drive, and is mediocre at best when you actually USE a set of RAID drives. But I don’t know for certain what might be causing the page fault error. Sounds like ReDeploy fixed the storage controller issue by getting you past the inaccessible boot device error. I understand this is more than likely an issue with the SATA vs NVME setup through windows but is there no way to fix this situation?Ĭan the target PC be configured to run in AHCI mode to disable Rapid Storage? I realize that’s a bit of a workaround. I boot back to recovery media and try boot repair tool and it fails with the same issue. It finishes then I get a Page Fault in Non Page BSOD Reboot to recovery media try hardware migration tool. Ive imaged a computer that uses a NVME to Sata adapterįlashed this image to a PC that uses Intel Rapid Storage NVME on board.Īfter flash I try to boot and it BSOD with unaccessible drive error By TechConnection LLC - 14 March 2023 6:02 PM
